Spending the day at my happy place—a writer’s conference! The publishing journey is long and, frankly, miserable, ( #RSD) but there is no other community as supportive and encouraging as fellow authors, agents, and editors. Looking forward to in-person this weekend!

Of course, the offices were closed and voicemail was full. I understand volunteer organisations—I've founded a few and worked with many—but this level of ineptitude seems inexcusable. Oh—and I cannot find the link for the hybrid conference tomorrow, either! That may be me.
