@mutationcip.bsky.socialAlmost forgot to post these--here's the results of the build challenges! Focused on some gradients this time around. Really love the last one (white to oak), the others need some more work
Also switched to Astral Core shaders, def doing these minecraft builds a service XD

@mutationcip.bsky.socialHere's the results of last night's stream! Starting to nail down to player scale builds, think my next challenge is composition.

@mutationcip.bsky.socialFinally got the Advanced Challenge done! Loved how this came out and found a fun trick with the tinted glass. Giving it a backdrop & leaving 1 block of light makes a subtle gradient effect!
Critiques welcomed.

@mutationcip.bsky.socialThe Normal Challenge was a floor plan, and I feel I did it justice! I was more focused on interiors which did lead to a rather plain outside (I did try and give it more texture--didn't work out) but I still loved this!

@mutationcip.bsky.socialWe spent half of stream on this one (again) but, while looking more like a 2nd cousin to my reference--it came out amazing! I loved every little detail we threw into this and all the little techniques we tried!

@mutationcip.bsky.socialThis was probably the most rushed build I made of the stream, takin a few minutes to quickly plot out the idea. BUT! I was really happy with the idea for acacia trapdoors as that back fence and the bone blocks for a little extra detail :}
@mutationcip.bsky.socialBy this point I was running outta time for stream, so only 20% effort on this one. Just wanted to try out some ideas over it looking good. Victorian def wasn't the way to go though XD

@mutationcip.bsky.social80% effort on this one: spent most of the stream on it XD
I ended up using this to practice my gradients! Critiques welcome. (keep in mind this was meant to mimic the ref build but be reinterpreted)
