Been getting back into some coding recently with #playdate gamesdev. Just want to say what an absolute joy of a machine to develop for it is. Back to basics where all you start with is a framebuffer and some creativity.

my #playdate klondike game is out in a couple weeks! here's a bunch of card back designs that i made just for this game. i tried to span the gamut from 'simple patterns' to 'fun objects' to 'deep cuts'

(you'll also be able to create and import your own custom card art as well; front and back!)

A variety of one-bit playing card designs. In order: A basic card back design with some antennae, a stack of pancakes with bacon underneath, a rabbit peeking up from the bottom edge, some shiny sparkles, a checkerboard pattern, some circles of various sizes and "colors", a dinosaur, a feather, a groovy, flow-y, lava lamp sort of texture, some stacked squares, an egg in a bird's nest, some no-signal static, a Playdate, a full moon (complete with rabbit...pesto, anyone?), a plaid pattern, a basic half-tone gray, a swirly spiral, the X 'root weave', with cursor in the middle, a vertical gradient from light to dark, a smiley face, a skull and crossbones, and a Hanafuda 'full moon' pattern.
