Here are some of my OC planets that I dr- uh, pixeled! I made these for the #pixelplanets open collab by @ekvitki.art, which was nice to help get more of my ideas into form.
They're called Kaia, Thornwood, and Nillious, and I gave brief descriptions in the alt text!

Kaia is an oceanic planet dotted with floating islands, save that one on the southern hemisphereThornwood is a wooded partial planet with a small molten satellite. It's like a hand in the dark reaching for the lightNillious is a battered and barren planet that is constantly baked under its red giant. Its inhabitants live underground, where it's actually cooler than the surface

I felt bad about how I left the showcase of my first planet for the #pixelplanets float against a plain background, so I added a little bit of #space to the image.

I'm excited to see what @ekvitki.art will do with all our submissions!

Sku-77 _ It is said to be the remnants of a space giant who shaped the universe billions of years ago.

#pixelplanets has come to an end, if my tally is right we've ended with 53 total planets! I want to thank everyone that has participated, and wish me luck in assembling all these lovely works of art into something worthy of these artists' efforts!

Holy moly we are in the final hours of #pixelplanets and I have a whopping !!51!! submissions! That's way more than I thought I would get, and I bet one or two might sneak through at the end too. I'm glad everyone has loved doing this and I cant wait to publish the final collage!

Planet Stamoss, my entry for the #pixelplanets collab by @ekvitki.art ! It’s mostly covered in dense, highly nutritive and medicinal vegetation. Algae and moss spread so much, they cover bodies of water. Two super volcanoes erupted so strongly they nearly hollowed the planet out!

Pixel art of a fictive planet called Stamoss. It is mostly covered in dense vegetation, safe for two immense holes made by the eruption of super volcanoes that nearly hollowed and destroyed the planet. The chemical reaction with the vegetation and atmospheric gases combined with the planet’s magnetic fields created a "golden ring" connecting both holes. Thus, the planet is often referred as the "smoking Taurus" or the "green bull".

Leiurus (64x64) and its moon Ceratus (16x16).

I didn’t have time yesterday to make a full scene (😢). Leiurus is a swirling maelstrom for an ice giant and its sulfurous moon Ceratus is being heavily mined for useful materials.

A purple gas giant in a perpetual state of combustion. Gases from its core leak into its own atmosphere where they react, leaving behind a trail of burning fire as it orbits its star.

I am currently making the #pixelplanets collage i do have 1 animated submission! it has me playing with .wepb because between all the submissions theres like 40 billion colors and they do not like being presented in a .gif. It looks good in a webp though, thank u aseprite for allowing that export

Venana is a water world with cloud formations drifting above boundless ocean. I imagine it is full of aquatic life. It has two satellites, the grey rocky Kun and volcanically active reddish Tari.
