@palomacy.bsky.socialBerkeley Bird Festival is this Sunday 10-18 from 12-5! Stop by & say hi at the David Brower Center at 2159 Allston Way. We’ll have some adoptable birds to meet & will answer questions about pigeons & doves & fostering & adopting. Yay birds!
@palomacy.bsky.socialWe are celebrating the very talented and caring new foster for Penguino and Toulouse! Look at the beautiful bas-relief portraits she created to welcome them home!
@nazmura.bsky.socialAlong with posters, I am selling pigeon cam shaker charms!
Some of the pidges in this are rescues from the organisation I volunteer at. Depending on how sales go, I'll be updating the design to include more in future!
@palomacy.bsky.socialThank you Martha Stewart and journalist Rachel Silva, for shining a bright light on this harmful practice. www.pigeonrescue.org/about/coo-in...
@palomacy.bsky.socialAfter-bath cuddle puddle! House pigeons are the BEST! Pearl and Ruse, enjoying a lazy afternoon.

@nazmura.bsky.socialNext pigeon rescue story is about Edwina.
She came from 2 hours away and was afflicted by numerous ailments including #pigeon pox, which is non-contagious to humans.
Included a photo of before and after. Looks like a completely different bird after full recovery!
