I woke to some unexpected heavy mist, this morning, which coupled with the autumn colours, was just glorious. No time to process pics yet, so here’s some grabs from the back of the camera for now. #mist #fog #LakeDistrict #Cumbria #trees #forest #woods #woodland #autumn #OPOTY #PhotoRippin

This birch was gently revealed out of a thick mist one evening last week, and was showing the first small signs of autumn colour.

It was chucking it down yesterday evening. I went out for a walk with my camera in the hope that maybe I'd get lucky as the forecast was for the rain to stop and the cloud to lift. I did get drenched, but the forecast stayed true to its word.
