Before and after photos.
The first was taken a week ago of pavement plants with Clouded Yellow butterfly (not in anyone’s way) - the second taken today after the West Sussex Council glyphosate spraying machine had been around. The dead plants will not be removed.

Snapdragon, Antirrhinum majus, with its very own bit of pavement in #Cambridge. #WildflowerHour #PavementPlants

Two #PavementPlants in #Cambridge:
Baby Sage, Salvia microphylla, (numerous hybrids and cultivars brought into horticulture since the 1990s)…
…& Butterfly-bush, Buddleja davidii (introduced 1896, naturalised 1922).
I loath the first, but am fond of the second!

Back in 2017, I found a #Hosta coming out of a crack in an old sidewalk drain catch in Center City. At first, I thought it was in a planter until I was walking right by it.
