This week is centred around one event, but it's a big one. The exhibition "Picturing Scholasticide" documents Israel's systematic destruction of the Palestinian education system, with Gaza as its focus. Thanks to @academicboycottnow , we are bringing it to Germany, and are honored to be the ones opening this moving exhibition. For more information on the exhibition, check out their post too! For further context and engagement, we are hosting a panel on Friday the 16th about the exhibition and how Palestinians in Gaza are resisting scholasticide. The panel is part of a two-panel series, with the second one focusing on the West Bank on the 30th of october - so stay tuned for that one as well. The exhibition and panel will both take place in the “Plenarsaal” in the AStA Building. There will be signs to guide you once you find the building. The exhibition will last from 14-18:00 every day from Wednesday the 14th until Friday the 16th, and wrapping up on the final day at 18:00 with the panel featuring some of the designers and a professor from a Gaza university.
