For some reason I recently started exploring #Obsidian. Coming from #Emacs, #orgmode and #orgrr, some things are driving me insane. How come it is impossible in Obsidian (without third-party plugins) to copy a wiki link to the currently open note? Why can I copy a quote with a nice reference […]

Coming from Obsidian to Org Mode, org-appear (https://github.com/awth13/org-appear) is a must-have addition. It provides the same editing experience as Obsidian’s Live Preview. One step closer to actually making the switch!

Hey #emacs users! Still struggling managing your #orgmode #GTD system with your #iPhone? Have a look to #orger by Tobler Gis , probably one of the best pieces of software ever for iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/orger/id6775281796

#orgmode rendering is broken on #github.

I'm curious - has anyone switched from #logseq to #orgmode? How was the experience? What did you gain/lose/miss?

Logseq seems quite bloated for my needs - I mainly use it as a todo tracker.

What I like doing with it:
- making todo lists on the fly, anywhere, and being able to refer back to […]

Another one for the #emacs and #orgmode crowd. I've been using org-roam for note taking and plain org for my GTDish setup. With Orgzly Revived I can check and edit my todos on the go. But only for the GTD stuff since Orgzly chokes with a large amount of files.

What I miss is a way to create and […]

A question to #emacs, #orgmode and #gtd users out there. How do you mark delegated tasks?

- Set it to WAIT and add the person as a tag (:target)?
- Set it to WAIT and use a PROPERTY?
- Some other method?

I started using TAGS but I wonder if there are alternative methods that I don´t know - […]

For all lovers of plain text and #Emacs on mobile 🚀
@rrajath released Grove, an Android client for #OrgMode built around Local-First.
It handles local files directly, seamlessly resolves sync conflicts (great with Syncthing), and offers a sleek interface with Agenda view & Capture Templates […]

https://github.com/charmbracelet/glow works with org mode markup

#orgMode

Only recently I’ve started using org mode as something other than better Markdown. I don’t need todos, timestamps and all that stuff. I do love noexport tag on sections (useful for notes) and #+macro for storywriting. I wonder what else I’ll discover and find usefull 😺☕
