@lornajane.netSlides from my #NordicAPIs talk today on "API Standards for AI Agents" are available: noti.st/lornajane/ZJ... Thanks for being a great audience and as I said, I just REALLY like standards, so come and talk to me about TMF APIs, #OpenAPI, or anything else!

@compuloop.bsky.socialClear API contracts outlive their first developer. Use standards and document the interface: https://www.compuloop.com.au/service/api-integration-automation-services/?utm_source=bluesky&utm_medium=organic_social&utm_campaign=compuloop_au60&utm_content=d45 #OpenAPI
@lukas.indieweb.social.ap.brid.gyToday you can build #APIs with a simple #AI prompt - but that doesn't make all the #OpenAPI tooling irrelevant, it actually makes it more relevant, as Kin Lane ("API Evangelist") argues here: https://apievangelist.com/2026/09/15/is-openapi-still-relevant-when-you-tell-claude-make-me-an-api/
@hacks.grA file that looks like ordinary instructions could make Progress’s model-generation tool run commands on the computer using it—if specially modified.

@fkilcommins.bsky.social@kinlane.bsky.social published a sharp piece worth reading: if the model can generate the API, why do you still need the standards? He traces the same mistake from SOAP/WSDL. The deterministic artifacts (#OpenAPI, #Arazzo, #JSONSchema, #AsyncAPI) are what make a generated API something governable
