Port Arend, 1959 ~
Fear of finishing? Here's one of the several nearly complete scenes in my dioramas. There's a glaring omission of pavement and other ground cover. Not hard to do, but will it then be done with me and me with it?

Scratch-Built/Scrap-Built ~
A few examples of things I've been building in 1/48 scale from cannibalized broken toys, bits of electronics, mat board, watch bands, paper, paper clips, plastic, wood, aluminum, steel, etc., etc.

Recently found a little jackhammer guy in a junque shop. Alas, he had no air compressor. Had to build him one from scraps. Now, he's trying to wreck my cutting mat. Luckily, he has no sound.

Dunno if anyone out there in O Gauge would have any suggestions, looking to get my first real transformer that isn't from a starter set. Going to poke around, but would love to hear from y'all too. #ogauge #modeltrains

Chet Haines' son-in-law, Arnie, was out at the junk yard today showing off his "new" 7-yr. old pick-up and sawing up some dead trees for firewood. "The kid's a pretty good worker", Chet concedes.
