@pezscreenwriting.bsky.socialI've quite a challenge ahead

@pezscreenwriting.bsky.socialI've a strong suspicion this next draft of the fantasy-comedy is going to be a major test of my writing abilities
I know I'm up to the challenge, but boy oh boy is this gonna be tough
Into the breach!
@pezscreenwriting.bsky.socialI'm glad I did another draft of the fantasy-comedy
b/c the notes I got on it will hopefully go a long way in helping the next draft be even better
fingers crossed
@pezscreenwriting.bsky.socialAnd that's three

@pezscreenwriting.bsky.social1st draft of the action-comedy - done
A huge laundry list of "Fix this!", but 100% certain I can do it
@seigyokusubs.bsky.socialpomodoro works #notgivingup
@pezscreenwriting.bsky.socialA few more pages on 1st draft of the action-comedy - p73!
This is gonna be one big ugly mess when it's done, and will def require a herculean effort to get it into decent, let alone fighting shape
But having an absolute blast doing it
@pezscreenwriting.bsky.socialCranked out 7 pages on the first draft of the action-comedy
At p65, which is the p75 plot point in the outline
Not stressing
Primary objective is to finish it, then go back and work the hell out of it
@pezscreenwriting.bsky.socialRough week. Yet I carry on.

@pezscreenwriting.bsky.socialAnother day, another disappointment
This has been a real downer of a week
Yet I soldier on, hoping good things are fast approaching
@pezscreenwriting.bsky.socialComment in recently-received notes for my fantasy-comedy
"Ask of every sequence: what becomes impossible to return from after this?"
Love it
@pezscreenwriting.bsky.socialGot some good notes back on the fantasy-comedy, and have a Zoom call about it this weekend
The latest rewrite was good, and will do my darnedest to make the next one as irresistible as I can
@pezscreenwriting.bsky.socialLatest on the action-comedy spec
Wasn't happy w/how a scene/sequence was playing out, so went back and rewrote it. Good fix for now.
Back to "It's a first draft. Don't obsess. Just write it" mode
@pezscreenwriting.bsky.socialHad kinda-sorta written myself into a corner, story-wise
Today - wrote down ideas until one clicked, then had a blast w/follow-up AND ending w/strong emotional impact on my protag
Lovin' how this is coming together
@pezscreenwriting.bsky.socialWhew! Took some last-minute brainstorming, but hit the midpoint of the action-comedy spec
Likin' how this is goin'
#screenwriting #goodwritingday #notgivingup #ScriptSky+
@pezscreenwriting.bsky.socialWorked my way through 4 pages on the action-comedy spec today
Midpoint is in sight!
Write now, edit/polish later
@sharklady.bsky.socialA huge shout out to all those who included me in their Lists for folks to follow. Thank you all. Go Team!! #Democracy #Notgivingup
@pezscreenwriting.bsky.socialBack into the first draft of the action-comedy
Did some touch-up work on 32 pages written last month, so now it's all about cranking out the next 70-80
Can't wait
