Nie jest wybredna w wyborze lokum na gniazdo. Poza tradycyjnymi dziuplami, czy budkami lęgowymi, ich gniazda znajdowano w skrzynkach na listy, rurach od płotów, starych czajnikach, a nawet wewnątrz porzuconych butów.
