snippet from 'Sea of Life, Heart of Fire' by Maikel Yarimizu the word 'domain' is highlighted instead of 'territory' -- Honua-Mea has her home in a secret valley, the sides of which no man can scale, plunging deep into the heart of her domain. Steam rises from the rock-lined pools, all day and all night, flying high above the trees, and all can see the towering pillars of cloud for miles around. When they do, all know things to be well, for the goddess takes that dwelling only in times of peace and relaxation. When angered, she resides in the great crater amidst the pools of molten lava and blistering winds, and then is she rightly feared as ‘Ai-Honua. The goddess walks the Center of the Seas and its attendant isles frequently, stopping to rest wherever and with whomever she pleases, but these two places of hers are sacred and forbidden to mortal men.

In a #mythic fantasy spent mostly at sea, this is not an uncommon color to reference, lol

snippet from 'Sea of Life, Heart of Fire' by Maikel Yarimizu the word 'blue' is highlighted in light blue -- There was the crack of thunder, a powerful sound which broke the air and sent sand and surf flying away. In the calm that followed, a solitary cloud descended from the heavens. Wispy and delicate, it assumed the form of a woman. Her eyes were the blue of the sky at noon, and her skin tinted faintly of the sunset. Her hair was a rolling mass of dark and purpled vapors, held together by strings of tiny thunderbolts.

excerpt from 'How a Wife Found Lohiau' in 'Sea of Life, Heart of Fire' by Maikel Yarimizu the word 'cousin' is highlighted -- The girls all hopped from their seats, honoring the bride and groom with a dance. Keilani stood among their number, and if her dance was not the most elegant or graceful, then so what? It was the feeling that mattered, of the music moving through the limbs. Leinani already knew how she was; her older sister should have expected no less than the enthusiastic flailing of limbs that was her usual dance. She made sure to wave and wink to Lohiau as well. “A wonderful performance,” said her sister when Keilani sat herself next to the wedding daïs for a chat. “Very moving, was it not?” Leinani nudged her now-husband. “Hm? Oh yes. The emotion was palpable,” said Master Hau. A smile skewed her face. “You need not lie, you know. I managed to kick Cousin Luana, and she was not even next to me.” “Only the once…” “Twice.” Keilani snorted. “Perhaps I can have Puanani teach me some moves.” “All that one thinks about is her ball game,” said Master Hau. “Though I suppose there is that display at the start which could be compared to dancing…” His chuckle was deep and rumbling. “But if it is to impress someone in particular which you desire, I would advise you to stay true to your strengths, rather than compete upon an uneven field.” She felt her cheeks burn with embarrassment. “Ah, well, I suppose that is true.”
