W.I.T.C.H. Season 2 is done; I'm still mad the Weisman curse means we'll never get a season 3.
Starting next week in its place, something a little more classic: the original 1987 Ducktales!

Hyena can do the Samus morph ball maneuver; I'd forgotten about that.
It's actually rather sweet how Harvey Bullock is legitimately shocked and saddened about Batman being supposedly killed off.
Warner Bros. really liked the name "Sid the Squid" back in the day, didn't they? I know they used it in an earlier episode, and on Animaniacs too.
But those instances didn't also have Harley Quinn playing Amazing Grace on the kazoo, so this is the best one.
Okay, seriously, I need this José kid to shut his mouth and never say anything again as long as he lives.
You can be a genius brat, but you can be a silent genius brat; you're far too puntable otherwise.

Then again, I kinda want to put either TMNT2k3 or Jackie Chan Adventures on there, and they're 156 and 95 episodes each respectively...
Maybe Spider-Man TAS to compliment X-Men... ?
I dunno, we'll see.
That said, with the original Ducktales, Darkwing Duck and X-Men TAS/'97 coming soon, I'm going to have a whole host of long-runners filling out the schedule.
I'll have to keep at least one slot available for shorter shows, or I'll never get to them.
Repopulating my playlist with upcoming episodes of different shows; always a cathartic experience.
I'm working my way through all these shows, and BatmanTAS is the only one with enough episodes to be a constant presence through all of them.
I don't know why Queen Angela is always surprised when Glimmer is never in her room.
Madam, your daughter can TELEPORT, it's kinda her thing; what exactly are you expecting when you close a door on her?
Scratch that, I wish ALL the spinoffs set up on the Avalon World Tour would have come to fruition.
Imagine Gargoyles 2198, Gargoyles: Dark Ages, The New Olympians, Heroes of Ulster, TimeDancer and Pendragon existing side-by-side; the Gargoyles Cinematic Universe.
So when Vertigo captured Batman and Talia, he got rid of Batman's utility belt, but not Talia's?
I guess Vertigo could have just emptied hers manually, Batman's usually has defenses against that, otherwise the animators couldn't use the belt to emphasize her hips.
Yeesh, our first introduction to the League of Shadows and it's two agents avoiding capture by gassing themselves to "erase their minds" when you KNOW it was meant to be cyanide in the writers' room.
And yet, at the end, he still gets to smile.
Batman is allowed to smile.
Man, this episode ("I Am the Night")...
The internal torment that Batman goes through, his guilt and trauma that makes him question his life choices...
People commend AtLA for not talking down to its audience, but this show was years ahead.
Now THAT is a shot.
Holy crap, I thought that voice sounded familiar...
A goose-stepping megalomaniac child as one of the main villains; can I take this kid seriously?
No way, José.
I was wondering what the setting was supposed to be, since the voice cast is primarily Canadian, but the animation is absolutely Japanese and the architecture is European.
Cursory research says the source material is Italian/Argentinian, so that tracks.
3 minutes in, we've got a completely dissonant opening theme tune, a gigantic-ass gargoyle statue and weird mutant-looking brutes.
I'm not uninterested.
