@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! We have some corking items coming up for you today, but first, as the pitter-patter of raindrops hitting the OSB above my head fills the space, we watch the rain come down and just smell all the smells and think about that lovely thing you'll be thinking about ALL day. 😋 #Friyay
@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! Thus, with a kiss, I die... The #QuickShot Maverick has zero factory capability for multiple fire buttons on the #C64. My question to all you NERDS is - can I open her up and make a few soldering changes to MAKE her..? 👀 Answers on a postc- well: here. Right here. Spanks. 😎
@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! You can't hear this photo, but for the past 2 hours I have. You gotta love Ben Daglish. This #C64 game, as I thought I best have a go, is bonkers. 😂
@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! Signed vinyl, kisses & handshakes and conversation in the bag. I ended up behind the bar in the hotel last night, running the joint. 😎 Now just outside Bristol Temple Meads Railroad Depot, waiting for the Head Signalman to roll a double six. M&S Traveller got me covered. #Yahtzee!
@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! I am off to Brissle to see one of my modern day musical heroes: James McMurtry. This pic is from his 11 year old "Complicated Game" album and was the album that people like Dylan and others took notice of his work. I got on to him via Cerys Matthews Blues Show on R2 a few years ago>
@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! It is certainly feeling more like Autumn now. 10⁰ this morning and a mist hanging in the air. Beauty!
@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! It'll soon be time to get ready to order yer 2027 version(s). I get a handful for Christmas Presents - worth every penny. @c64reloaded.bsky.social is the man you need to speak to. Almost all systems and computers and even arcade games will be featured. How lovely is Winter Games?
@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! I am away for the weekend, getting this, for one thing, touched up! #C64 FTW! I also got another new tattoo, which I will share drekkly. No #LogLoads64 until I get back home. Enjoy your Vancouver, y'all!
@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! Followers & Mutuals are likely all aware of this absolute GENIUS & I am shooketh that I didn't try harder to attend BIT 2026. If there is a BIT 2027 - by hook, or by crook: I am there. #C64 music never sounded so good. OK, obviously @lukhash.bsky.social, but there is room aplenty! ♥️
@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! Last one from me this morning as work slides its icy grip around my wrists -> New Month = New Game & this month, the *best* month, it is Super Cycle! Keep an eye out for @c64reloaded.bsky.social offering up pre-orders (fab Christmas presents!) for 2027: many retro systems available.
@logrus.ukThis is what Excel was *MADE* for!
@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! Having fed the Frips, I thought I would spend 15mins rustling up a nice Sunday brekkie for myself. Details in the #CobaltText. The lighting in this pic is none of my doing, this is the stock shot as the light came through the half-stable door in the kitchen. It was delicious, BTW. 😋
@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! These things don't often come back this way, amazingly. But claiming revenue on a video that is live-filming the actual cassette loading process of a 40 year old #C64 game, is, uh, insane. The tune "claimed" was Ocean Loader 2, BTW. 💃 Video Link Below. Good Morning! ☀️
@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! Workflow soundtrack for the morning is a brilliant and again often overlooked Stereophonics album that followed their debut Word Gets Around; Performance and Cocktails & Just Enough Education to Perform: You Gotta Go There to Come Back. Takes me back to my first flat in Brighton.
@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! Breakfast coffee and homemade vegan (I'm not, but IDM) Cinnamon Swirls made by those looking after Fripville and the Frips whilst I was away all weekend. That's nice, that is. ♥️
@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! The old adage "What goes up, must come down" is very much in effect as the arduous journey home begins from a wonderful Pal's birthday long weekend away with some very good friends. Why didn't we drive..?!!? 😂
@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! The mammoth 10 hour game of #Talisman ended with the Sorceress (LogPlops) ousting the Minstrel from the Crown of Command in the nick of time and eventually worrying away the remaining life of the other three characters. Victory went to the Free! I mean: EVIL. Best. Boardgame. Ever.
@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! Away for a long weekend at our Shaftesbury Bolt Hole. Yesterday, I want to say we played #Talisman. 5-PLY. What I need to say is that we *started* playing and after almost 4 hours, we are not even halfway through game 1. We have Space Crusade and many more to get through! 👾😎👾
@logrus.uk#MorningAwnings! Another day, another harvest. Fresh Bruschetta made for my house guests as I swan off on multiple trains for a Weekend Birthday Break for a pal ol' buddy o' mine down in deepest, darkest Dorset. 😎 #Friyay
