My buddies owning it.
Many highlights on Day 2 of #MoC7!
@liadmudrik.bsky.social presented her project using prediction maps to test theories of consciousness and @hohwy.bsky.social spoke on predictive processing and the self in “From self-evidencing to consciousness.”
@ronyhirsch.bsky.social just gave a beautiful talk at the #MoC7 conference - apparently it’s even better to hear great talks by your (past) students when they have already continued to the next step! Super proud, can’t wait to see what she does next 👏👏👏
Day 1 of #MoC7 is complete!
Highlights: Nobel laureate John O’Keefe on the hippocampus and consciousness, @meganakpeters.bsky.social on identifying consciousness in humans & beyond, and Robert Sunderland on Niels Bohr’s Copenhagen spirit, which we aim to bring to consciousness science!
Artificial conscious is very near! The question is: will the consciousness researchers have a chance to solidify their models before the robotics guys create consciousness by accident?

Kicking off Models of consciousness in Copenhagen with quite a crowd. #moc7 @moc7.bsky.social
If you're at Models of Consciousness #MoC7 in Copenhagen, check out our poster on Tuesday:
"Empirical science cannot decide between theories of phenomenal consciousness"
Objectionable or obvious? You tell me!
(if you're at the conference, otherwise you'll have to wait for the paper)
Can I trust in what I see? – Neural correlates of meta-perceptual (un)certainty estimation
