2018 & 2026 are #MLR's 'smallest' full seasons in terms of games and teams but 2020, which saw 30 games played before it was cancelled, bucks this trend.

Does a shorter season lead to higher scoring? Did RRS' implementation contribute to higher scoring in #MLR2026?

#MLRStats

Based on the average points scored per game (PPG), #MLR2026 was the highest scoring #MLR season to date, by far!

This year marked the first time that the average PPG rose over 60 in #MLR, a jump of 7pts from 2025 and surpassing the previous high of 57.2 way back in 2018!
