@moviejawn.comMJ's @pronouns.bsky.social says of the film MISTY GREEN: "Even when it takes grim turns or teeters on the edge of self-parody, Eleazar, Kaluuya, and the rest of the ensemble keep it buoyant."
#MistyGreen is in select theaters now.

Fast Forward to the BFI last night where one of those songs was played in a Hollywood Movie putting our names in the credits
Proud of the kids we were and what we've FINALLY achieved
@carlkakafotf.bsky.social#MistyGreen is an enjoyable, funny, heartfelt and emotional ride that pokes fun at Hollywood and the aura surrounding it.
The cast all perform brilliantly in a good all round movie.
Chris Rock has written and directed a real crowd pleaser!

"Misty Green" is Chris Rock’s misfire of a tale of a woman’s struggle in Hollywood.

@producermike975.bsky.socialMisty Green tries to be so many things all at once, but because of this it's unable to explore any of those things with much depth. Providing only surface level commentary on topics it touches on.
If this film had stayed Misty focused throughout, I'd be much higher it.
@producermike975.bsky.socialRosalind Eleazar is riveting as Misty Green & is the main reason to see Chris Rock's new film. She holds it all together with her performance.
Even with an incredible cast, the material & technical aspects in how the story is structured & delivered hold it back.
@jaysj1.bsky.socialChris Rock writes, directs & stars in Misty Green — a punishing look at Hollywood desperation. Rosalind Eleazar is remarkable, even when the film is exhausting. With Adam Driver, Daniel Kaluuya & Anna Kendrick. #MistyGreen #ChrisRock #RosalindEleazar
