Your mesh was dead quiet on the bench and now the drivetrain sounds rough after a few heats. Check the spur material before you blame mesh again. Stock POM spurs wear faster under load than steel. A steel spur holds mesh longer and is cheap insurance before a big race.

You pulled the Mini-Z bearings, wiped them on a rag, re-oiled them, and they still sound dry on the bench. A rag only cleans the outside. Beginners wipe and re-oil. Racers run a cheap ultrasonic cleaner, dry them, then oil, and get another season out of the same bearings.
