My new favorite #flavour for #foodonfriday #blueskyart #photographersofbluesky #eastcoastkin #shokupan #milkbread #sweet #sweetandsour #devecchiobakery #Norwich #Norfolk #England

A close up image of a rectangular serving of Japanese style toffee bread - a slice of Shokupan loaf coated in honey and butter and baked giving a golden toffee coating, wrapping a soft white brioche style bread. Absolutely delicious treat courtesy of the Devecchio small batch bakery in Norwich, Norfolk, England. Baked on the premises, situated in The Lanes is Norwich; there's always a queue outside, and they sell out quickly! https://devecchio.co.uk/ Adding my personal discovery . . . I added a small puddle of balsamic vinegar in which to dip the toffee bread. Chef’s kiss!
