Military divorce runs on two rulebooks: Alabama law and federal military rules. Where you can file, deployment pauses, and dividing military retirement all work differently. www.theharrisfirmllc.com/alabama-mili... #harrisfirm #militarydivorce

In Alabama, a military pension earned during marriage is marital property. Split it with the wrong wording and the finance center rejects the order. www.theharrisfirmllc.com/military-ret... #harrisfirm #militarydivorce

Dividing a military pension isn't like splitting a 401(k). Federal rules govern it, and the wording must be exact or the system won't honor it. www.theharrisfirmllc.com/alabama-mili... #militarydivorce #harrisfirm
