I diced up banana peppers, bells, and a couple of jalapenos to make four pints of pepper relish this morning. Our garden is still producing, even near mid-October.

Pepper relish is great on sandwiches, or stirred into beans or stew. (recipe below)

Everything in our garden has given up, other than a few straggly tomatoes and our okra. But these yellow banana peppers and bells just keep producing. I'm hanging them from our mailbox for neighbors, and some are using them to feed their chickens.
