Endlich bin ich auch mal wieder am Meer 🥰

Eine Küstenlinie mit Leuchtturm in grau mit Häusern und einer Küstenstraße. Vereinzelt ein paar Wolken am Himmel, das Wasser ist ruhig aber nicht glatt. Vereinzelt schauen Palmen zwischen den Häusern hervor.

#MeerMittwoch mit Blick vom Hügel der Notre Dame de la Garde in Marseille auf "Les Îles", die der Stadt vorgelagerten Inseln.

Im Vordergrund sind noch ufernahe Teile von Marseille zu sehen. Dahinter das Meer, das bei dem zwar freundlichen, aber leicht diesigen Wetter kaum einen definierten Horizont gegenüber dem Himmel hat und fast nahtlos damit zu verschmelzen scheint. Mitten in dieser blassblauen Meer-Himmel-Atmosphäre sind die vorgelagerten Inseln aus hellem Gestein zu sehen, inklusive dem Chateau d'If. Die Inseln scheinen ein wenig wie im luftleeren Raum zu schweben.

A portrait orientation view on a sandy, tropical beach in the Caribbean. Immediately next to us, and taking up most of the bottom part of the view, there are two small boats, dragged ashore and resting on their sides angled away from us. The nearest has a blue hull with white band at the top and the furthest boat is yellow. Both look like they could use a repaint as they're in quite rough condition. The sand they're resting on is pale and stretches away and to the right where it meets a promontory of rocky headland that stretches out and forms a bay for this beach area. The rocky land is a dozen or more metres high, almost sheer, and filled with trees and bushes on any flat surface only leaving patches of the pale stone of its sides visible. The sea is flat, barely a ripple showing, although there's a narrow band of darker sand at the water's edge where the gentle tide is washing ashore, and there a small, white boat at anchor a dozen metres away from the beach. It's a hot day with just a couple of small, puffy clouds in the sky.
