Mechatober Day 16: Dancer

SSC Atlas

"I thought she was dancing. Then she began chanting in a dead tongue, tracing circles in the sand with her blade. Each step was a prayer. Each fall of her blade an offering, and we the unwitting sacrifices."

#Mechatober2026 This and rain are bugging me but (unlike rain) I've actually finished this one (and immediately want a redo).

And yes; I did just clone the illustration and flip it to fill in the background because I am not a scenery guy.

Mechatober Day 15: Broadcast

Horus Goblin

SSC-backed idol Encore is a hit sensation. Her shows sell out in seconds. Nobody knows why her songs keep playing after they end, or why fans never stop singing. SSC insists her mech, POPSTAR, is above board.

Mechatober Day 14: Rural

IPS-N Jones

“Old Man Santos built it from a farm frame, an overloaded mower attachment, a dozer-blade , and his old cannon. Even strapped on a ship afterburner. He called it the Breakwater. The pirates didn't stand a chance.”

Mechatober Day 13: Sanitation

HA Genghis [Sanitation Model]

“How much for a battlefield?”
“Whole tank.”
“And the bodies?”
“Scalding hot water, max pressure. Leaves nothing for disposal. Command calls it sanitation. I call it job security.”

Day8: Exemplar
Elite soldiers. Knights, Samurai, Ace Pilots. In every age, these figures commanded respect, and were bound by oaths of honor. And in every age, the weak were killed, their things taken by force. For violence can never be reigned in by honor alone

13. Sanitation

The power farms automatically dump expended bodies into decomposition vats for recycling. But in the machine city a specialized mech collects depleted power cells and replaces them with units from its own living assortment.

Mechatober Day 12: Beast

ISP-N Sehkmet [Blackbeard Alt]

I launch into the fray, axe raised, sword high. My frame snarls. Weapons gives way to claws. Armor glows red. I stop hearing their screams over my own. GIVE ME FIRE! GIVE ME BLOOD! I AM DEATH!!!
