@craftxbox.transfur.social#mastoadmin #fediadmin Seeing a new spamwave that i haven't seen reported on yet. Mass-mention combined with an open redirector, `google.<tld>/share.google?<etc>`, Seems to layer the redirection even further. One of these i saw redirected to a porn scam site but the latest ones seem to hit to a […]
@michael.mstdn.thms.uk.ap.brid.gyAnd I’ve finally had enough. Both mstdn.plus and masto.nu are now ‘limited’ on my instance.
@stefan.gardenstate.social.ap.brid.gynew phishing account just appeared with this post:
@socialbc.cai got the second coat done on the greenhouse!! looks awesome!! #footiMac #mastoadmin #Debian
@socialbc.caand now the wifi stations are grumpy. ok this is not how holiday Mondays are supposed to be. this feels like work. 😝 😿 #footiMac #mastoadmin #Debian
@arjen.idf.social.ap.brid.gyAnd #MastoAdmin up to v4.7.3, sorry a few days late!
@mastoadmin.mastodon.tn.ap.brid.gyMise à jour terminée...
@mastoadmin.mastodon.tn.ap.brid.gyLancement de la mise à jour de notre instance Mastodon (mastodon) de 4.7.2~ynh1 à 4.7.3~ynh1
@whiskeyomega.cupoftea.social.ap.brid.gySomeone calling themselves "OVODavid" is currently making up accounts on different instances to dodge bans and harass someone on Plush.city. Was banned on toot.wales
@hakona.im.alstadheim.no.ap.brid.gyHey, #MastoAdmin, had a brief visit to my instance from a person who is not a regular. This is what they saw on their iphone. How to fix? I.e first-time visitor default theme readability. For comparison, a link to the post: https://im.alstadheim.no/@hakona/117421341535186378
@tinoeberl.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gyHä? Wo ist denn die Suche in #Mastodon v4.8.0-nightly.2026-10-09 hin?
@luca.sironi.xyzAnyone using actalis instead of letsencrypt ?
Would be nice to substitute a fundamental american piece with an european one.
@sven.troet.social.ap.brid.gyUpdate auf v4.7.3 durch. #mastoadmin #server #mastodon #wartung
@chris.mstdn.chrisalemany.ca.ap.brid.gyUpdate to 4.7.3 complete!
@whiskeyomega.cupoftea.social.ap.brid.gyI'm not banning anyone for supporting Palestine. That report just shows your true colours. The problem is the admin has no control on a report that's sent externally. So I'm not naming and shaming
@dk3jf.radiosocial.de.ap.brid.gyWieder 255 Botkonten abgelehnt. 🙄
#mastoadmin
@raineer.frontrange.co.ap.brid.gyHave to completely close sign-ups for a while due to the bot armies, got in trouble with email provider.
I need to make a change where emails don't get sent out until I approve an account.
@ml.social.mitexleo.one.ap.brid.gyHe wants to follow tech discussions. That's why he created more than 100 accounts. :)
@MastodonEngineering shouldn't send the verification email before approval.
Almost ruined my domain reputation. I'm yet to implement external solutions.
@linuxbsd.mivatter.com.ap.brid.gyI have admins who I have reached out, and they all say the same thing. They believe me. They know there is a problem.
But they're all fearful to speak out or do anything.
That's not cool
@whiskeyomega.cupoftea.social.ap.brid.gyWell if i dont let a couple of bots through for 15 mins how would you know if I did any work 😆
Sorted now anyway.
