@shimaruhisame.bsky.socialRandomly warm today for #MangaMonday. But it's going to drop later in the week.
In the mean time, have a warmer cover from Mushishi. This is the last 3 volumes in a single omnibus, despite the rest being singles.
I'll be picking up the newer edition at some point and this will get packed away.
@darkhorse.comHappy #MangaMonday! This isn't your average trip to the zoo... š°

@shimaruhisame.bsky.socialThis week we'll go celebration for #MangaMonday.
This is the week the Magic Knight Rayearth remake airs, so let's show off part 1 of the manga.
It's definitely 90s and VERY anime. It's like how I've seen Escaflowne described: the quintessential anime because it has EVERYTHING.

@shimaruhisame.bsky.socialLast week on #MangaMonday was 20th Century Boys, so this week will be the other Urasawa work I have, Monster.
These are also the last volumes. I will admit the ending did feel... lacking? I don't know, I think I expected something else that I don't know how to describe. Maybe it was just over.
@shimaruhisame.bsky.socialSpace is becoming a premium on my shelf, so #MangaMonday may concentrate on series I am considering packing away until I get more room.
For this week I'm continuin-

@shimaruhisame.bsky.socialNo I'm not late for #MangaMonday, you are.
Anyway, since I had Ouran on my mind the other day, let's show off the first 4 volumes this week. Coincidentally they have the main cast on these covers.
I watched the anime back in the day and enjoyed it, so the manga was on my list to get.

@shimaruhisame.bsky.socialNothing special for Labor Day for #MangaMonday but got something great.
Vinland Saga will end soon in English. These two were a transition between one arc and the next, when Thorfinn's ideals are solidified but challenged in multiple ways. The famous "I have no enemies" scene happens here.
@darkhorse.comHappy #MangaMonday! Something must've happened...
