Vital Signs Skull and breastbone sawn in two: Brain and vitals - Hubs of the self - Suspended in coolant. I fade back into one of my impostors – a Silhouette of what was once a person, and Wonder if this tenuous sketch is not in fact the True self of which my default self is the Ornate but threadbare counterfeit. My Life becomes Limpid and spectral - No longer there.
