I love making Christmas cards for friends and family, so I’ve added four linocut Christmas card designs to my online course, Beginner’s Guide to Linocut Printing.

On Friday, I spent the day teaching a linocut workshop for improvers, and we made Christmas cards! 🎄
Four fabulous linocut prints from today's beginner's linocut workshop.👏👏👏
Inking and printing my blackbird linocut in black oil-based ink. I re-ink the lino block for every print. Next, I’ll be hand-colouring all those little beaks yellow, one print at a time. 💛
It’s always lovely to come back from a holiday to glowing reviews of my online courses. Erin joined my How to make a multi-block #linocut print all the way from New Zealand! 🥰
The finished carved block for my blackbird linocut print. I’ve carved out the inside of the beak so I can hand-colour it yellow afterwards. That bit was rather stressful! Thankfully, I didn’t cut his beak off!
