I let a patch of Bahia grass grow long for the #lesslawnmorelife challenge (also, mower battery broke).

It reminds me of the wheat fields I saw in Lancaster PA. I even hear a wee bit of a whisper when the wind blows.

I've been pleasantly surprised that by leaving Bidens Alba to flower, multitudes of honey-making bees have been so very kind in the garden.

No aggression whatsoever.

I recently set aside my #Ryobi mower

(I'm still waiting for my replacement battery 😒)

and bought a manual push mower.

I love it!

And now,

I see myself as

a whipper-snipperer! 👏🏼

I made an train of cardboard boxes in my backyard this month. So fun to see it grow in length.

Now I have a path!

And the train moved into a new area I want to clear.
