The @telegraph.co.uk decided not to publish our response to Tim Stanley’s 13 September piece, in which he called those organising the EU flags at the Proms “sad sack Remainers”. We believe in open dialogue and free speech, so we’ve published our response here...

To see the traditional ecstatic flag-waving, please skip to the last third (from around 1:10).

NRK har vist det, SVT viser det nu, ARD om et øjeblik......men hvad med DR?

Last Night of the Proms er altså ret fantastisk og favner musikalsk utrolig bredt. Så hvorfor sender DR ikke det?

Og i øvrigt er Royal Albert Hall fyldt med 🇪🇺🇪🇺❤️

#lastnightoftheproms ❤️ 🇬🇧

Something repulsive about seeing the British Establishment singing the Skye Boat Song, waving their Butcher’s Aprons. Those fuckers literally committed genocide on the MacDonalds and most other highland families.

Should this calendar be updated to include all the snowflakes moaning about EU flags at the #lastnightoftheproms. It seems to be an annual moan now.

Cue GBNews having its annual hissy fit at the #lastnightoftheproms at the sight of EU flags but they do report that this is in support of musicians and music lovers facing barriers post-Brexit. #musicwithoutborders.

Land of Hope and Glory at the #lastnightoftheproms.
Well done all 🥳🥳
Lots of EU flags and Union flags in solidarity with musicians who need freedom of movement to work.

“Authentic Integrity - that’s my kind of AI”

Bravo, Sakari Oramo. #lastnightoftheproms

Another brilliant BBC Proms #lastnightoftheproms, capped off with excellent performances by showman tenor Nicky Spence. Fantastic music, great fun.
