Here are some lovely tatted medallions my mom made. The upper orange medallion is done in perle cotton, and the lower light blue medallion is in silk thread from Z-Twist Dye Works.

Two small circular medallions made from shuttle tatted lace. The one made from perle cotton has a handful of small, round beads in parts of the lace, and the silk medallion has larger pearls in the same places plus a small flower bead in the center and tiny glass seed beads decoratively spaced around the edge.
