The Earth rises to fight for the Dwarfs

Earth Elementals from @manticgames.bsky.social pajnted these up to fight alongside my Dwarfs, though them being metal models definitely makes them feel like they are made of Rock 😂

#hobbystreak Day 729

Some progress on the centerpiece Airship for my Halfling Army. I'm still waiting for the support poles between the ballon and hull but in the meantime I attached the engines and the tail rotor.

#kingsofwar #mantic #halflings #paintingminiatures #nerdlings #mymantic #airship

The balloon of the airship, I attached the engines and tail rotor and eventually intend to add a observation hatch to the top where the misprinted banner once was. Some close-ups on the various parts of the Airship such as the tail rotor, what is to be the observation hatch on the top of the balloon, the support ropes and the bottom of the hull which I intended to sculpt the keel onto.

The 2300pt army I'll be bringing to a King of War game later this week and it will likely also be the army I'll use for a tournament next month.

I spent this weekend prepping the army for a KoW game this week and made a transport case.

I'll do a group shot after basecoating tomorrow.

And a WIP on the centerpiece of this army, a big Airship

Ash Williams has fallen from the sky and ended up in the Kings of War universe 😅

Not a perfect one for one recreation of the poster but I think it turned out alright 😁

The Halfling Aeronaughts take to the sky to drop bombs on their unsuspecting foes!

Another great model from @manticgames.bsky.social these guys really put the fear of the Missing Gods into their foes.

#hobbystreak Day 712

Finally built the other half of the Dwarf/Halfling Mixed regiment with some light conversion giving some haflings the blunderbus barrels from the Alpine Dwarves.

I also changed some things on the HQs

#kingsofwar #mantic #halflings #paintingminiatures #nerdlings #mymantic

The mixed Halfling and Dwarf rifle regiment. Some close-ups on the Hallfings in the mixed regiment. Some characters for my Halfling Army including a (Dwarf) Engineer and Dwarven Airship captain, nessecary for a later project and the now fully rebased sauceror.

#hobbystreak Day 704 - 706

Had a busy weekend but I was able to finish the rest of the bow-wielding Wild Runners as well as finishing most of the core cavalry for my Halfling Army sans their heads and bases.

#kingsofwar #mantic #halflings #paintingminiatures #nerdlings #mymantic

The remaining bow-wielding Halfling Wild Runners, while I had originally planned to give them all bows I unfortunately ran out of bits so I improvised with some slings. A group shot of the, now almost complete, core cavalry for my Halfling Army, just missing their heads, basing and a 10-men squad of Chicken Riding Juggers.
