I just came across this article from 2018. It starts with fascinating observations about motor memory,
and ends by introducing us to Rick Dickinson, a designer of #computers and #keyboards.

#OutOfOrder #Music #Keyboards #Afterparty The Flaming Lips have a tremendous keyboard player - the mighty Steven Drozd www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkKY...

#OutOfOrder #Music #Keyboards #Afterparty and that one leads to this one www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwYN...

#OutOfOrder #Music #Keyboards #Afterparty yet another keyboard driven song, there's so many www.youtube.com/watch?v=djV1...

#OutOfOrder #Music #Keyboards #Afterparty I actually listened to the whole thing this time and I wish I hadn't. Need to wash my headphones - here's some lovely keyboards - who knew it was Jools Holland all along - it's like a Scooby Doo hood removal scene www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bEr...

#OutOfOrder #Music #Keyboards #Afterparty Another tldl track from @nakedhaggis.bsky.social last night www.youtube.com/watch?v=DtS6...

#OutOfOrder #Music #Keyboards #Afterparty The Canadian pick didn't make the top 10 this week for the first time in ages - it was a condensed field, should have really been a top 20 @derrylm.bsky.social www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7qq...

#OutOfOrder #Music #Keyboards #Afterparty Now it's time to finally have the time to listen to the incredibly long songs shared by @nakedhaggis.bsky.social yesterday tldl www.youtube.com/watch?v=pidj...

#OutOfOrder #Music #Keyboards #Afterparty I first encountered Rick Wakeman at the Junior Prom in the Albert Hall, fuck knows how many years ago. Had no idea who this hippy looking dude was but one of my friends was hooting and cheering @ianbharlow.bsky.social www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHOM...

#OutOfOrder #Music #Keyboards #Afterparty To really see how brilliant Tony Banks is - you have to watch a whole concert (includes Phil Collins with hair) www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FBc...

#OutOfOrder #Music #Keyboards #Afterparty Tony Banks. The Raven is the one that immediately springs to mind but it's only a few seconds long. Time Table is lovely www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Azq...

#OutOfOrder #Music #Keyboards #Afterparty It was such a brilliant top 10 that Joe Jackson and Tony Banks didn't even get a foot in so first Joe www.youtube.com/watch?v=bufZ...

#OutOfOrder #Music #Keyboards The #1 is another song that normally would make the top 10 of the Dutch top 2000 every year and actually deserves to be there whereas Billy Joel doesn't. The mighty Procol Harum wins. www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0vC...

#OutOfOrder #Music #Keyboards At #2 is a song that took over the entire world in 1979 and made Bob Geldof a very rich scruff. Johnnie Fingers (John Moylett) plays the piano though: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Kob...

#OutOfOrder #Music #Keyboards #3 and it's Jon and Vangelis up next - of course it is. This song is from Heaven and Hell - a Vangelis album I have 3 vinyl copies of because I kept scratching them. @wildpalmsltd.bsky.social once said Vangelis couldn't compose. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aPR...

#OutOfOrder #Music #Keyboards Sorry for the delay everything always stops for Tarkus every.single.time. The #4 is a live performance that makes Michael Stipe look like an amateur - Mike Mills on piano: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVT0...

#OutOfOrder #Music #Keyboards At #5 is a tour de force of prog rock. Keith Emerson - that precocious young genius carries this entire project from start to finish. It's a dense and difficult 20 minutes but worth every second. Ladies and gentlemen the whole of Tarkus: www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQ1Z...

#OutOfOrder #Music #Keyboards #6 - Had to have some harpsichord in here somewhere (I love that instrument) www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KIH...
