Made a new cargo spacecraft in KSP with a lithium fueled nuclear electric engine. Designed to haul cargo in the inner solar system. Still trying to find a good name for it.

Mars Transfer Vehicle Olympus II from Proxima: A Human Exploration of Mars

A Mars Transfer Vehicle in Low Earth Orbit. The front of the spacecraft is an inflatable habitat module followed by three International Space Station-derived modules in a T-shape. The craft uses nuclear propulsion with large liquid hydrogen tanks. Electricity is supplied via two large circular solar panels.

カーバル星系を行き来するのに必要な最低限の増速度＝ΔVを図から算出できるサイト。ロケットを多段化してどこまで到達するのに使うかの計画にも超便利。
マニューバーをミスった時に備えて100~200m/sほど多めに燃料を入れる様にしている🤔

ホフマン遷移軌道の理論のおかげでカーバル近辺の探索はバッチシになったんで次はムンに弾丸飛行とか無人探査とかを目指すか。
今のロケットだと燃料不足で宇宙の塵と化すからしばらくはScience稼ぎするか😂

「楕円軌道に移りたい時は近心点で、円軌道に移りたい時は遠心点で加速を行う」というホフマン遷移軌道の理論に従ったらキレイな円軌道の人工衛星を作れました。
必要な速度と燃料は「大体これくらいかなぁ」っていうガバガバ推論で載せちゃいましたが😂

SSTOに←みたいな固体ロケットブースターを着けたらいけるんじゃないか？と思ったらこの気体は空力学的にかなり不安で離陸時に事故るので宇宙開発どころではなかった（笑）
けっきょく一番打ち上げ性能が高いうえに安定してぶっ飛ばせるのって→みたいな固体ロケットブースターをたんまり線対称に着けた機体だわ🤔

SSTOっぽいのもSteeamのMODを改良して作れたけれども、分かったことは「さっさと海面推力比の大きい固体ロケットブースターで打ち上げてしまった方が費用も燃料も安上がり」ってことだな...😂
スペースプレーンやSSTOなんて夢のまた夢でソユーズみたいな単純な宇宙船のが断然よかったんだな🤔
