Mud and Fire

How do you keep fighting when the ground itself turns against you?

In KARDS, Rasputitsa punishes costly operations, 3rd Morskoi Pekhoty brings light infantry and firepower, and STZ-5 Katyusha keeps mobile fire moving through the mud.

#KARDS #WW2

Sometimes the way forward has to be built.

No Ground Left to Give

As the Pacific War moved closer to Japan, strategic choices narrowed.

In KARDS, J2M Raiden reacts to mounting pressure, Ferocious Assault trades future capacity for an immediate answer, and Last Ditch Force pushes that logic to its extreme.

#KARDS #WW2

Sometimes the answer isn’t new equipment.

It’s finding a new use for what you have.

This week’s Field Notes looks at the Matilda Frog.

A Revolution in the Air

How much could British air power change in one war?

In 1941, the Stirling became the RAF's first operational four-engined bomber. By 1944, the Meteor had taken Britain into the jet age.

In KARDS, both reflect that revolution.
