@westsideofthings.bsky.socialDrummer Michael Shrieve (of Santana fame), worked with guitarist Bill Frisell in 90s. Shrieve suggested Frisell record with John Coltrane's drummer Elvin Jones. Then Frisell had worked with bassist Dave Holland on a Kenny Wheeler album. And the rest is history.
