The underpainting experiment was successful, & the transparent paint was a bit streaky, so I decided to use oils to refine. Though it’s a bit shiny (still wet), I’m happy with the result. Neat stuff!

Painted @reaperminiatures.bsky.social #jadefireleader. Paint job of 90 minutes, played with underpainting, then transparent paint on top. Clearly refinements needed, and I’m quite happy with 90 minutes of work. Paint info in alt text.
