The full uncropped drawing of Simon's selfie will be released on patreon (18+) monday 26th of october. It'll come along with the high res version of the comics :D

#bloodymary #comics #ironlung #phm #projecthailmary #ironmary #rocky

A comic page. The first panel of the comics features Ryland Grace taking a selfie while pulling a flirty/funny face and doing the V for victory gesture. In the background, a human version of Rocky looks on with confusion. Grace's tshirt features the old meme "all your base are belong to us". The backgound is blue toned and blurry, implying a lab.

The second panel features Rocky, looking at Grace with concern. He's wearing a dirty off white tank top and teal glaces. Rocky says "Why friend Grace make weird face, question? Friend Grace sick?" Grace answers: "No, I'm taking a selfie for Simon! I'm okay."

Third panel is a shot of Grace's cellphone, displaying the texting app he's been using to converse with Simon. His screen is cracked. Grace says: "I'm just acting cringe to make him laugh. As my kids say."

Fourth panel is Simon's answer through text. "Looking good! my turn!" Grace stutters "U-uh!?"

Fifth panel is a selfie Simon took at the gym, showing off his torso and arm prosthetic. The image is cropped to hide anything uncouth, but the implication is there. Sparkles are flying everywhere.

Last panel is Grace buffering in shock, and Rocky looking in disgust. They both look like muppets. Rocky says "Rocky call HR, statement. Is disgust."

I have finally done it! I made Rocky work with the Animal crossing AU! I ADORE his design so much. It's the best of both worlds in my eyes. I can't wait to finally get his color scheme and draw more shenanigans-OH! I'm so excited.

Who knew it would take drawing all that animal crossing stuff to get back to drawing people normally again. 🤔
Anyways part study, part snippet of the fanfic I’m writing. Gotta have some disagreements.

I had so much fun making these. Grace's passport photo was taken on the VAT after they found out it was expired. Simon's was taken a few weeks after washing ashore. And I couldn't leave out the GCMS ID. I tried to sneak in some Easter eggs too. ;)

A animal crossing passport photo of Ryland Grace. The background of the passport is very similar to the animal crossing new horizon's ID with a few changes such as the addition of the Petrova Comet. The photo of Grace is a very nervous and anxious, being held in place by two security guards as they took the photo. His glasses are askew as he smiles towards the camera. The following text is on the ID.

Line One: Passport
Line two: Passport ID: 2026-2003-1987-13477.75
Line three: Petrova, Oranges
Line four: Species: Fox (Vulpes Stella)
Line five: Ryland Grace

A animal crossing passport photo of Simon from Iron Lung. The background of the passport is very similar to the animal crossing new horizon's ID with a few changes such as the addition of the Petrova Comet. The photo of Simon, looking indifferently towards the camera. His ear colors are green to show it's the summer time. The background shows the photo was taken at Grace's home with a window and framed children's drawings in the background.

Line One: Passport
Line two: Passport ID: 2012-0603-1989-01326.31
Line three: Petrova, Oranges
Line four: Species: Capra Hircus Aries
Line five: Simon
Line six: Born May 5th
Line seven: Reg. August 12th 2021

A white and blue school ID of Ryland Grace. He looks well kept and clean for the photo, boosting a proud smile towards the camera. He is wearing a brown suit with a earth pin on the suit collar. The text on the photo reads:

I finally decided to color it. I'm not good at digital rendering, but at least I wanted to try my hand at it. I hope you like it.. 🫶

I plan on having Grace pre-record his lesson before the start of the new semester and gives me an excuse to show his sleep deprived state caught on camera.

Also Grace has no poker face to yearning. Trust when I say Simon yearns TWICE as hard but hides it better.

#BloodyMary #IronMary

Sketch of Animal Crossing Grace recording his first video for the new school year. He is well kept wearing a suit. Behind him is a white board covered in doodles and science posters. The following is said.

Grace: “Hi class! I’m working remotely this year but that won’t stop me from teaching you!”

A second sketch of Grace recording his lessons. He is wearing a more causal outfit, his iconic ‘Ah! The element of surprise’ shirt. He is pointing at the camera, wide eyed and sleep deprived. A rough diagram of the Krebs Cycle is drawn with missing information. On the far right there is partially erased comments from Rocky and Simon telling him to go to bed. The following is said.

Grace: “Okay class, tell your TA what the step 6 is on the Krebs Cycle.”
Grace: “TA, resume the video when they answer right.”

Third sketch of Grace recording his lessons but this time Simon is a guest. The video lesson is titled “Plants have feelings too. Feat. Simon.” Simon is focused on showing of the plant for the days lesson. Grace is focused solely on him, initially to show the class where the focus should be on but his yearning at the better of him. Simon is handling the lesson well enough that Grace can’t find it in himself to interject nor is he focusing on the lesson to remember too. The following is said.

Simon: “The mimosa pudica reacts to touch. This is called seismonasty. This is likely a defensive reaction for…”

I did make sure to go back and draw people again. Plus I wanted to practice more Simon and Grace. And Grace, I’m sorry, but you ended up as half doodles.😅

Still on the animal crossing craze. I just adore these two being soft with each other.
As well as getting after each other for not taking care of themselves. 🦊❤️🌳

A doodle of animal crossing Grace and Simon gardening. Simon is guiding Grace on how to plant a seed. Grace is nervous due to his history of failing to keep plants alive. The following conversation is said.

Simon: “Pack the dirt but not too compact.”
Grace, nervously: “Okay.”
Simon: “It’s not glass. You can be firmer.”
Grace: “Okay.”

Part two of the previous sketch. This time Simon is comforting/rewarding Grace with a nuzzle. Grace is extremely flustered with his tail wagging ecstatically. Simon has also placed his hand over Rylands. The following conversation is said.

Simon, affectionately: “Relax.”
Simon, warmly: “You’re doing great, Ry.”

A doodle of Simon getting after Grace for staying up too late. Grace has crossed his arms and is pouting, not making eye contact with Simon. Simon has pressed his face against Grace’s face with furrowed brows and the look of anergy disappointment. The following conversation is said:

Simon:”Go. To. Bed. Grace.”

A doodle of Grace taking care of Simon’s wounds. Simon is roughen up due to his inability to get used to the peaceful life on the island and gets himself injured trying to find what’s wrong with the island. Most of his injuries come from falling out of trees, cliffs, and pitfall seeds. Grace had finished bandaging up Simon’s hand and is holding it tenderly as Simon looks away with an ice pack on his bruised cheek. The following conversation is said:

Grace: “Simon… What have you gotten yourself into?…”

I'll tell you that I'm very satisfied with the sketch but I'm undecided whether to do the rendering or not, I'm not very good at digital art... I'm still learning...

Drops a collection of #BloodyMary sketches and walks away.

#IronMary

A sketch of Human Simon interacting with Animal Crossing Simon. They are discussing the different plants they grew. Human Simon is cultivated a Ginkgo tree and Animal crossing Simon is growing a Lily if the valley. Both are curious and happy talking about plants. The following conversation happens.

Human Simon: Well I’ll be damned. You have Our Lady’s Tears.
Animal Crossing Simon: We call them Lily of the Valley.
Human Simon softy saying: Beautiful name.

A sketch of human Grace and Animal crossing Grace. Human Grace is completely baffled and curious if the “item” leaf animal crossing Grace is holding. The following conversation happens:

Human Grace: And you say that leaf is actually a Parabolic Antenna.
Animal Crossing Grace: *nods*
Human Grace: Dang.

A sketch of Animal crossing Grace and Simon sitting on a ledge. Grace is wrapped up in the “humanity” quilt while sleeping his head on Simon’s shoulder. Simon is holding Graces glasses as he pull the quilt back over Graces shoulders. Simon is blushing despite the neutral face he holds and Graces tail is wrapped around Simon.

A sketch of Animal Crossing Grace and Simon. Grace is startled as Simon falls asleep on his lap. Grace is heavily blushing and in shock, he is not sure what to do with his hands. Simon is blissfully unaware and content.

Y’all have no idea how proud I am of myself. I drew a background y’all. I drew a BACKGROUND!

Also, Grace is totally the fisherman in the relationship and Simon has no luck at all. Simon’s skill tree is in gardening and uses that crossbreed for blue roses. 😏🌹

#BloodyMary #IronMary

A sketch of animal crossing versions of Grace and Simon. Grace is proudly showing off his catch of a King Salmon. Simon is sitting on the edge of the river with his tiny guppy he caught (the first actual fish he caught all day. The rest is caught junk he’ll recycle later.)

The background is near the rivers mouth, a palm tree in the distance to show the location of the beach while the rest of the background is temperate trees and evergreens. It is implied to be September which allows Grace to fish for King Salmon. If this was colored Simon’s ears and tail would be tinted yellow and orange.

The manual scene in Iron Lung got me feeling things too complicated for me rn ngl this fucking movie is heartbreaking, is why I'm watching it again tonight #bloodymary #bloodstar #ironmary

I was struck with inspiration and had to show that Animal Crossing Simon’s ears and tail change color with the seasons! His horns bloom a couple of weeks in spring, much to his chagrin.
