Article discussing the future of BBC Newsnight (if any). I stopped watching Newsnight when it became an incessant, night after night, slagging off of Keir Starmer. No surprise then to subsequently discover that the BBC merged the production teams on Newsnight and "Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg" (the most far right political commentator at the BBC) a few weeks before I gave up watching Newsnight in disgust. https://www.standard.co.uk/culture/tvfilm/newsnight-cancelled-bbc-cuts-b1294532.html If they want clicks then #iPlayer needs to work properly. iPlayer app on my LG TV says 'beta'. Sometimes have to turn TV off then on again to make it work. Sometimes starts me off in previous show. Was supposed to show me Lucy Worsley talking about King Henry the Eighth, gave me Monty Don talking about gardening then had to watch a load of trailers for random shows I would never watch before eventually going to Lucy Worsley. I've already posted about my problems trying to watch the Whitney Houston story. Sometimes it shows BBC iPlayer logo, background goes another colour but still says BBC iPlayer, then doesn't log me in. Sometimes I get a message saying that it may take up to 30 seconds to log you in if you have a poor connection but we have gigabit fibre internet and there definitely isn't a connection problem at our end. SORT IT OUT!

The fools behind the BBC iPlayer site have "improved" it so you can no longer sort it by most recently added.

I don't want to be told what you think I should watch.

I want to see what you have added to the offering and decide for myself if I want to watch it.
