Good Morning Bluesky Folks!

It’s an Early Start for me Today anyway here is a Photograph of a Beautiful purpletop vervain flower that I Captured Yesterday with My iPhone 17 pro!

🌱 #NaturePhotography #PhotographersOfBluesky #PlantSky #UkGardening #Bloomscrolling #Flower #iphone17pro

This photograph features a close-up, top-down view of Purple Top Verbena (Verbena bonariensis) in bloom:
Flowers: The plant has delicate clusters of tiny, star-shaped flowers with five light purple/lavender petals and darker pinkish-purple central tubes/calyces.
Structure: Two primary flower heads (umbel-like clusters) are visible—a smaller cluster near the top and a larger, fuller cluster just below it, set against slim green stems.
Background: The background consists of a textured, grey asphalt/pavement surface.

Good morning Bluesky Folks!

Yesterday I took another photo of the same red rose I shared yesterday. It was taken with my iPhone 17 Pro!

🌱 #NaturePhotography #PhotographersOfBluesky #PlantSky #UkGardening #Bloomscrolling #Flower #iphone17pro

This photo features a vibrant red rose in full bloom, serving as the central focus of the image.
Key Details:
The Flower: The rose has rich, deep red, velvety petals layered closely together, forming a lush, classic cup shape. The center of the bloom reveals a small, brownish cluster of stamens.
Foliage: Surrounding the flower are several deep green leaves with serrated edges and subtle veining. A few small thorns and stems are visible beneath and beside the flower head.
Background: The background consists of dark, earthy soil around the base of the plant, with dry, light-colored dirt and sparse patches of grass higher up in the frame. In the top-left, a few smaller red blossoms from the same bush are softly out of focus.

Good Afternoon Bluesky Folks

My latest capture features a beautiful red rose I spotted yesterday on my way to my local charity shop to volunteer. I took it with my iPhone 17 Pro!

🌱 #NaturePhotography #PhotographersOfBluesky #PlantSky #UkGardening #Bloomscrolling #Flower #iphone17pro

This vertical, close-up photograph features a vibrant vivid red rose in full bloom, angled slightly to the left.
Here are the key details in the image:
Main Flower: The central rose displays velvety, tightly layered petals spiraling inward toward the center, with softer outer petals opening outward.
Buds & Stems:
To the left and right of the main bloom are two green unopened or partially opening rosebuds on thin stems.
The stems and small sepals around the buds show noticeable tiny green insects or debris (likely aphids or garden pests).
Dark green leaves are attached lower on the stems.
Background: The background is softly blurred (bokeh effect), showing an outdoor paved or ground area in front of a residential house with white-framed windows and a dark car parked nearby.

Goodnight Bluesky Folks!

Today’s final Capture is a stunning garden cosmos flower I spotted today. It was taken with my iPhone 17 Pro!

🌱 #NaturePhotography #PhotographersOfBluesky #PlantSky #UkGardening #Bloomscrolling #Flower #mobilephotography #iphone17pro

This close-up shot captures a fully open pink Cosmos flower in a garden setting:
Flower Details: The flower features eight wide, overlapping pink petals with subtle vertical ridges. The base of each petal shades into a slightly darker magenta ring around a bright yellow, textured center disk.
Insect: On the upper-right petal sits a delicate insect—a green lacewing—with slender antennae and transparent, veined wings rested over its body.
Background & Stems: Surrounding the central bloom are feathery, needle-like green foliage, small unopened flower buds, and patches of lawn/groundcover vegetation.
