Inkling is definitely the easiest Octonaut to draw. The gloss on the tanghulu, however, was a little annoying to figure out but I think it came out well enough.

I decided to draw Itri and Crimson as an inkling and octoling respectfully. I'm really happy how they came out, I think they translate well into the style. ^^ Crimson's hairstyle and colour are based on her human design, with Itri's based on both her og design and human look. As for choosing what species they'd be, it was pretty easy honestly. Inklings have sharper ears and raccoon eyes that look similar to Itri's facial markings, and the rounded ears and separated eyes fit into Crimson's design well. And I gave them the idol pupils for funsies. ^^ I'm planning on drawing more Splatoon characters in the chibi sanrio-esque style (I actually have the sketches for Deep Cut done, and Frye I drew a while ago) so expect more in the near future. I'm also working on another Splatoon x Itri and Crim piece, apart of some drawings for spooky month. ^^
