We cut to later that day, an establishing shot showing we're at a diner called The Edge. We see James looking incredibly miserable in a close up as he looks at some very dry toast and soda water and moans about his tummy hurting. He apologizes for throwing up and Sekhat expresses that she blames DD not him. DD takes this as a compliment to her shenanigans and calls him a lightweight. Xóchitl notes that lightweight or no probably isn't a factor given that the stuff she gave him can burst into flames when exposed to atmosphere.

Cut to Mr. Sprinkles, the furby-style toy, waiting in an alleyway and watching Ben's store from across the street. A Pink hotrod pulls up and the door opens. The Customer from earlier, a green lizard person in a sweatshirt, is driving and asks Mr. Sprinkles if he got all the cash from the register. Mr. Sprinkles, now buckled into the passenger seat confirms it as the two drive off into the sunset vowing to live free.

James continues his interview, breaking into an angry rant about how difficult it is to protect human infants. In that fit of rage he ends up puking on Sekhat. He collapses after this and she advises the crew both to cut the interview there and to be careful cleaning up the puke because it can strip the flesh from people.

Ben and the others begin trying to bodily pull Lana out of the vents. Ben and Jeremiah are near her butt and make jokes about finding Delilah's watch up there. We then cut to Lana trying to help Ben with repairs by nailing his laptop to a piece of wood. Then to Jeremiah celebrating once more ducking his responsibilities and finally to the vermin mother hugging her children.

James has returned to the interview chair with another next to him so Sekhat can hold his tentacles as he introduces himself. In the process he drops that his real name makes things break and he and Sekhat proceed to accidentally drop that name 6 times in a row.

Jerimiah is lounging on the counter while the others continue trying to figure out how to get Lana out of the vents. Lana explains that she has a long and prehensile tongue and Delilah notes how much she's learning about her body today. When the others, presumably including Lana, give her a knowing look prompting her to deny that she meant anything sexual and for Ben to point out that it didn't accomplish anything when he did the same thing.

The others, backstage, comment on how he doesn't seem to be handling this well and Mack asks how much booze DD put in that drink. While the others discuss it James snaps and shouts "Freedom" before Sekhat notes he's making a break for the fire exit and the alarm sounds.

Lana, her tongue still trapped, watches as one of the vermin approaches her tongue with a large bottle of hot sauce. Meanwhile Ben and Delilah are discussing her solutions to her problems and as she is about to explain how she got those solutions Lana crashes through the ceiling while still mostly tangled up in ventilation, forcing her to admit she got the idea from someone who got trapped in a vent by some vermin.
