Went to language table today & a Hoocąk college student Zoomed with us, speaking rapidly & with an excellent accent. In this time when many eminent speakers are walking on, it did my heart so much good to hear him.

Both the use and origin of these glyphs is uncertain but what is certain is they look nothing like European writing systems.
