The color Purple does not exist. ~ 💜

The colors blue and red exist at opposite ends of a visible spectrum of light that we as humans can perceive. The full spectrum continues beyond what is visible to us. This means our brains hallucinate purple. 🤭

OC Astra stands in the middle of a long hallway lit in red and blue. Astra reaches her arm out gesturing towards the far end of the hallway smiling at the camera.

The club was one of the first places I found myself. ~ 💜

Sometimes I like to include the ghosted controller to ground the photo within the VR universe. Jedi hand swipe, immersively pressing the button. 😜

#VRPhotography #VRChat #OC #Art #Immersivism

OC Astra walks towards a large blast door in the process of opening vertically. The door is at the front entrance of a club in a cyberpunk inspired world. Astra reaches out towards a panel on the wall swiping with two forefingers extended and a Index controller mimmicking the idea of some tech interracting with the button from short distance. Above on the walls surrounding her you can see a sign for the club "K" and an illuminated "Open" sign.

Its nights like these. ~ 💜

I was gonna do some world exploring last night, and that took a sharp turn to cyberpunk from one of the discover tabs! I was so into this.
This world seems to be poised for roleplay? The lighting is wonderful.

A photograph of a cyberpunk inspired cityscape inside of VRChat. OC Astra sits on a supporting beam in the foreground looking up at the surrounding skyscrapers illuminated with massive signs across a body of water.

Users of the grid. ~ 💜

Coming into work on my 'Monday,' finding myself crashing out already. Everywhere I turn somebody has neglected to do their job in favor of leaving it for someone else to fix. Strange how that all accumulates at the bottom.(/S)

#VRPhotography #VRChat #OC #Art #Immersivism

OC Astra is just outside of a window with cozily decorated window sill. The physical framing of the window makes for a pattern photographers will regornize as familiar to the grid used in cameras for framing. Outside of the window a large white glowing tree is contrasted against a blue, purple and pink grandient stary skybox and dark grass beneath it. Rain falls softly at a slight angle, the grass is dormant but a pulse of energy emminates outward from where Astra stands. Astra stands with her hands out palm upwards embracing the rain and appearing to interract with the light expanding outwards in the grass quickly climbing the small hill the white glowing tree is rooted upon.

The vision from inside.. ~ 💜

Put this and the photo for tomorrow in a framing masterclass or some shit, because these make brain ~dopamine~ 🤣

#VRPhotography #VRChat #OC #Art #Immersivism

OC Astra stands at a window admiring the outside leaning gently against the window frame. The window frame puts up some make shift framing grids which I played with compositionally. Outside of the window it is raining gently, water rests on the surface of the window. A large tree with glowing white leaves and a dark trunk makes great contrast against a beautiful blue, purple and pink grandient star filled sky. A single swing hangs from a branch on the tree motionless.

Here is another one of these for a Sunday. I have one shot in this world from a long time ago, and I am glad that I returned. Something about the rainbow in the sky above the clouds is really compelling.

#VRPhotography #VRChat #OC #Art #Immersivism

This photo is another in a series that was inspired by 'infinite zoom' art where the canvas can be zoomed in or out on infinitely and drawings are interconnected. This is shot with the VRC "Print" camera and it leaves a thick white border around the photo mimmicking instant photos such as Polaroid. Each photo gets placed into a new environment and I line up existing pieces of the photo with similar things in the new world creating a portal effect like looking at a different place and time but things still line up. In this photo there is a sakura tree taking up most of the frame as a large holographic whale swims through the air above the clouds. In the sky many stars that shine brightly are accented by rainbow gradients painting everything a shade of gay. The previous photo in the series is positioned in front of the trunk of the sakura with a lantern lined up at the edge of it's frame with another lantern in the new environment. The stars from the previous shot are angled diagonally across frame and are also lined up with the whale as it 'swims out from behind' the previous shot.

"Oh, I forgot. You're broken. I don't want to play with you anymore."

It requires such a simplistic worldview to reduce pieces of someone's being down to playthings. She is not just some doll. The Dolls are not just some agitprop. Check your privilege.

OC Astra hangs lifelessly in the air from her waist. Her limbs, tail and neck hang down in kind. The background is mostly greyscale with roots reaching down from above and blotches of grey that hang in the air reminding me of soot. Along the edges of the photo there are highlights of color in the form of flowering plantlife in bright blue, yellow, pink and greens.

"Hush now..."

I've said the magic words. Now you climb back into that box and sit pretty, won't you? Remember to smile...you wouldn't want to ruin everyone else's fun, right?

#VRPhotography #VRChat #OC #Art #Immersivism

OC Astra holds up a hand sign from my childhood that meant "I love you." It is a mixture of ASL hand sign letters "I," "L," and "Y" with the pinky, pointer, and thumb extended while the middle and ring finger are curled into the palm. Astra's hand narrowly obscures her exposed chest and the pointer finger covers her mouth compositionally. Behind her, the environment is greyscale with splotches of grey hanging in the air at different distances reminding me of soot, roots reach down from above and large vibrant flowers are the only other color in the piece around the bottom of the composition.

"Omg, I love your avatar!"

Is she pretty enough to be included? Are there enough pieces of jewelry, pretty colors and blinking lights to keep your attention? Is her body your price of admission?

#VRPhotography #VRChat #OC #Art #Immersivism

OC Astra is pictured in a greyscale dark space with brightly colored vibrant plants and flowers. Splotches of grey hang in the air at different sistances. Astra covers her exposed chest with one arm, palm facing away from her displaying her nails towards the camera.

"Dance for us..."

#VRPhotography #VRChat #OC #Art #Immersivism

OC Astra bisects an image of a mostly colorless foggy space that has bright spots of vibrant color in the form of large plant life. Splotches of grey hang in the air like soot and large roots reach down from above into the ground below.

Free to be me. ~ 💜

In an increasingly suffocating world filled with violence and willful ignorance to it having a place to go to feel yourself is important. Remember to check in on yourself and tend to your own needs, sometimes this stuff hard.

#VRPhotography #VRChat #OC #Art #Immersivism

OC Astra blocks out the corner of an image framing the outter edge of this photo taken inside of a cyberpunk world. Astra is facing left to right smiling in front of a street sign and a taxi cab underneath a street light. Overhead flying vehicles and autonomous robots navigate the available space.

In all ways except physical, I am a palm tree...unless you count all the other reasons I am also not a palm tree. ~ 💜🤣

Happy Saturday! Remember, joy is a revolutionary act of resistance. You are capable. You are strong. You are filled with meaning.

#VRPhotography #VRChat #OC #Art #Immersivism

OC Astra stands with her hands crossed and wrists inverted in front of her mimmicking the shape of a palm tree's branches smiling into the camera. Behind are two very large crystals, many trees including a couple palm trees, and various other plantlife along the ground.

Updating a museum dedicated to contemporary art made about and within the internet. It'll be available on a few platforms and features work from the 90s to now. Much of it has been in people's game inventory for more than ten years.

Hoping to open in a few weeks.

Hey! Did YOU foster your creativity this week? ~ 💜

Creativity seems to be a fairly integral part of my life at this point, and it fuels me. It feels like a part of myself I wasn't properly taught how to interact with. Makes me a happy little Chappy. 🤭
