@pqpolitics.bsky.social@derrickokeefe.bsky.social If elected as a #VSB39 school board trustee will you ask whoever is BC education minister if he'd fulfill the promise of past #bced minister Rob Fleming & add ADHD as a standalone category in special ed so we'd get accommodations & #IEPsForADHD?
@pqpolitics.bsky.social@derrickokeefe.bsky.social Dec 4 2017 then #bcndp education minister Rob Fleming promised he would add ADHD as a stand alone category in special ed so they'd get accommodations & #IEPsForADHD vs depending on the whims of a teacher.
But he lied. Did nothing to help us.
@pqpolitics.bsky.social@derrickokeefe.bsky.social Hi Derrick, #bcndp #bced minister Rob Fleming promised the largest group of students with mental health conditions, ADHD 8-10% of kids, 5% of adults he'd add ADHD as a category in special ed so they'd get accommodations & #IEPsForADHD
He lied.
