Brain Tourniquet - Sinking Deeper Into Madness

DC powerviolence signed to Iron Lung's label. Pissed off, abrasive, and frantic with crushingly heavy tempo changes. This is some high-grade shit. #hardcore #punk #hxc #powerviolence

My son was discussing his 7th grade reading of The Outsiders. I took the opportunity to name today “International NJ Hardcore Day" and introduce him to some Lifetime.

They never get old and may we never age either.

Hello Bastards by Lifetime

Judiciary - Stalagmite Angels

Severely underrated TX hardcore. This is my favorite release by them to date! On a couple songs, they use some unconventional instruments like a didgeridoo and an Aztec death whistle (I think?) and it really adds to the scary, intense atmosphere.

Initiate - With Love // With Rage

California melodic hardcore band that very seamlessly merges dreamy, atmospheric sounds and themes with classic hxc speed and aggression. Definitely one of the most unique-sounding bands out there in the scene.
