It claims truth by being a parody. Like Spinal Tap in the reading, the joke only works if you recognize the conventions (art-speak, tutorial format). Its truth isn’t “this happened,” it’s “this is how the art world actually works.” #hwa5 #howtomakeanart

Barely any special effects, and that’s the point. One voice, one frame, direct address. Mixing hip-hop slang with art-world talk is the real “effect.” His voice does all the structuring. #hwa5 #howtomakeanart

I think ART THOUGHTZ makes claims to truth by presenting Youngman as a mentor giving advice, but it is still representational because his outfit shapes how that truth is delivered. The message is received, even though it comes through an untraditional style. #hwa5 #howtomakeanart

ART THOUGHTZ uses Youngman’s voice as the main tool to persuade the audience. The setup is simple as it's mostly just him speaking to the camera, but he adds images throughout to support what he is saying and keep the viewer focused on his argument. #hwa5 #howtomakeanart

#hwa5 #howtomakeanart This documentary makes claims to truth by proving what is and isn't art, like the idea that if something is not functional and seems to be otherworldly, it counts as art. It seems to be representative in the way that there are various examples shown of what art can be

#hwa5 #howtomakeanart This documentary uses a lot of imagery towards the end of the video to represent what "art" really is, and uses certain sound effects to go along with the fact if the picture/idea is are or not art.

the doc makes its claims to truth while being representational bc it explains how art doesn’t require talent and shows us collections of everyday objects, while telling us that it’s art and redefining our meaning of what art is. #hwa5 #howtomakeanart

this doc heavily uses special effects and image to explain that art isn’t something that’s subjective, and he shows us how easily art can be created with everyday objects, pushing the boundaries on our beliefs on art. #hwa5 #howtomakeanart

#hwa5 #howtomakeanart #shortdoc This documentary makes claims about how art is obtainable and easy for everyone to understand. Its up to you what you consider to be art. For example, "I cant sit on all these chairs" "ART" its showing you to try and not to be afraid to fail,

#hwa5 #howtomakeanart This sound and image depict a genuine, real story telling, There is one man behind the camera. He uses google stoc images at the end to almost mock or depict that art is subjective.

I think this video makes claims about the art world through humor and exaggeration rather than presenting straightforward facts. Although Youngman raises real criticisms, his character is super funny, showing how even without being serious you can get a point across. #hwa5 #howtomakeanart

The video is mainly Hennessy Youngman speaking directly to the camera. His casual language and humor make it feel more like a conversation than a traditional documentary. I think this approach makes his criticism of the art world more interactive. #hwa5 #howtomakeanart
