Every single #hospitalist and APP I talk to are like “are you new here?”

“No, I have literally been here longer than all of you, I just did everything in my power to work anywhere but this building for the last 9 years 🫠”

At least they share my sense of humor (from the #hospitalmedicine #callroom)

Every single 2-11 PM or 3-midnight #hospitalist #admitting shift I do, I end up staying in the hospital until 5 AM questioning my life decisions

Oh yeah I am doing this to have an independent #income and not depend on men 😭 I know this is (much) better than tradwifing but in the moment…

I’m sorry wtf is this. As a #hospitalist I cannot even imagine what a gender segregated #hospital ward would look like or why it would exist in a western country

Even in our double rooms, yes two people in same room may be single gender but nobody cares what gonads the patient next door has

Fair, but that 5% of students includes all of northern Michigan and UP. So traverse city, leelanau, Alpena, Gaylord, Cadillac, Marquette, etc. we can draw more than 5% of students from that region.

I actually know a #hospitalist who worked up there, her daughter went to #Stanford instead of UM 🤷🏻‍♀️

I couldn’t think of any movies with #Geriatricians but the Big Sick for #hospitalist work- I loved the movie and the #medical part is limited but no you do not need an OR and general anesthesia and a thoracic surgeon to do a diagnostic thoracentesis
