Anyone, anywhere, can add their voice to the electronic letter at HOOTDONTSHOOT.ORG! 🇨🇦🇺🇸

I’m in and out of hospitals, fighting for my life, but I will NEVER abandon these precious owls!

💔🦉 Hear this Barred Owl’s terrified cries. Now imagine gunfire echoing through its forest as the USFWS targets hundreds of thousands of owls.

THEY ARE NOT TARGETS! THEY HAVE FAMILIES! Help me stop this slaughter!

An orphan is an orphan. 🦉 I’ve seen what happens when baby Barred Owls lose food and family. Their welfare deserves serious attention as lethal management continues. #BarredOwls #HootDontShoot #WildlifeConservation

You wouldn’t even know she was there. 🦉💔

Deep in the forest, a mother Barred Owl watches over her baby, perfectly hidden among the trees. Look into her eyes. Her life matters. They are being slaughtered!

HOOT. DON’T SHOOT.

I’ve spent years documenting Barred Owls, their families and their lives in the wild. Today, I’m using that body of work to advocate for their protection and help give them a voice.

They cannot speak for themselves. We can. Hoot. Don’t. Shoot. 🦉

They call her invasive. I call her worth saving. 🦉💔 Save Barred Owls. HOOT DON’T SHOOT.

Watch this sleepy baby Barred Owl slowly close his eyes and fall asleep in his nest, and fall in love with the beautiful wild owls we are fighting to protect. 🦉❤️ #BarredOwl #BabyOwl #OwlPhotography #WildlifePhotography #WildlifePhotographer #HootDontShoot #HootForJustice #SaveBarredOwls

I photographed this baby safely, with a healthy Mom and Dad nearby.

But babies just like this West Coast USA are growing up without theirs. Their parents are being lured from the forest & met with a bullet.
